As your Responsible Person (RP), MDSS serves as your legal representative within the European Union (EU) and acts as the primary point of contact for relevant authorities. We are also prepared to assume all responsibilities of the Responsible Person under the Cosmetics Regulation on your behalf.
Our services include comprehensive support in preparing the documentation required under the EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009, including the Product Information File (PIF). A critical element of this process is the Safety Assessment, an integral part of the PIF.
This Safety Assessment is conducted by qualified professionals in our team, based on the documentation you provide.

- Providing a valid EU address and serving as the first point of contact for relevant authorities
- Notifying your cosmetic product through the European CPNP database
- Compiling and maintaining the Product Information File (PIF)
- Supplying necessary documentation in response to inquiries from relevant authorities
- Preparing a Safety Assessment
- Immediately notifying relevant authorities in the event of a serious undesirable effect (“Cosmetovigilance”)
